RUSSIAN POSTCARD : BOLSHOY ICE DOME

THE PICTURE : The Bolshoy Ice Dome is an indoor sports arena located in Sochi, Russia. Opened in 2012, it has a capacity of 12,000 and formed part of the Coastal Cluster of venues for the 2014 Winter Olympics. It hosted the ice hockey competition of the 2014 Olympics, serving as the main venue for the men's tournament and hosting the medal matches for the women's tournament. It also hosted both the IIHF World U18 Championships and Channel One Cup in 2013. The arena was designed to resemble a frozen water droplet. Its signature feature is its roof, which contains LED lights on its outer shell that illuminate the arena at night.

HONG KONG POSTCARD : HONGKONG NIGHTVIEW

THE PICTURE : Hong Kong, alternatively known by its initials H.K., is a city-state and is a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour, and with a land mass of 1,104 km² and a population of over seven million people, is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Hong Kong's population is 93.6% ethnic Chinese and 6.4% from other groups. Hong Kong's Cantonese-speaking majority originate mainly from the neighbouring Canton (now Guangdong) province.

CHINESE POSTCARD : HAINAN ISLAND SHAPED MAP

THE PICTURE : Hainan  is the smallest and southernmost province of the People's Republic of China. The name "Hainan" also refers to Hainan, the main island of the province. Hainan is located in the South China Sea, separated from Guangdong's Leizhou Peninsula to the north by the shallow and narrow Qiongzhou Strait.
The province has an area of 33,920 square kilometers and is China's southernmost province. Although it comprises some two hundred islands scattered among three archipelagos off the southern coast, 32,900 square kilometres (97%) of its land mass is Hainan Island, from which the province takes its name. The PRC government claims territories of the province extend to the southern Spratly Islands, Paracel Islands, and other disputed marine territory.
Hainan Province is the largest Special Economic Zone laid out by Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping in the late 1980s. There are a total of eight major cities and ten counties in Hainan Province. Haikou on the northern coast of Hainan Island is the capital whilst Sanya is a well-known tourist destination on the south coast. The other major cities are Wenchang, Qionghai, Wanning, Wuzhishan, Dongfang and Danzhou.

MY FIRST TRAVELLING NOTEBOOK : FOLK TALES

Well, this is my first time to make a travelling notebook. And, i decided to make a theme, and that is Folk Tales Notebook. I think, it is very unique, because i can read it as substituter of novel. Yes, i love to read a novel. In the Notebook, the participant can write a folk tale from his/her country, but not the famous folk tales like Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, The Sleeping Beauty, or Snow White. Because, i am very boring with that story. But, if the participant can write a new tale from famous tale to a new tale (i mean, if the participant will write a story of Cinderella, but the ending is different, for the example, the ending is Cinderella will be friend with Snow White, and they kill the Beast because they guess the Beast will kill them, and Belle was very sad and Belle sleep, sleep, and sleep, because she is very tired but she can't wake up before a prince kiss her. Then, Aladdin came to kiss Belle. And they live happily ever after).
