UKRAINIAN/RUSSIAN POSTCARD : SEVASTOPOL

THE SENDER : Tania from Ukraine
THE PICTURE : It is multi view of Sevastopol city. Sevastopol  is a city on the Black Sea, located in the southwestern region of the Crimean Peninsula. The city is currently under dispute by Russia and Ukraine; Russia and Sevastopol itself consider it a federal city of the Russian Federation and part of the Crimean Federal District, while Ukraine and most other countries consider it one of Ukraine's cities with special status. The Russian military has displaced the Ukrainian military in the region, and Russia exercises administration over Sevastopol's territory. Sevastopol has a population of about 342,451 concentrated mostly near the Bay of Sevastopol and surrounding areas. The location and navigability of the city's harbours has made Sevastopol a strategically important naval base throughout history. The city is home to the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and its main port, the Port of Sevastopol, is one of the busiest ports in the Black Sea.
THE STAMP : It has 4 stamp. But, it just has 2 kind of stamp. The first (orange) is Acer platanoides, Norway Maple stamp.. This stamp issued on 2012. And, the second (green) is Fraxinus excelsior, a European Ash stamp. This stamp issued on 2012 too.
